ONDO SOUTH ADVANCEMENT AND WELFARE CONSULTATIVE ASSOCIATION (OSAWA) DECORATED,CONFERRED AND CONFIRMED THE LAWMAKERS FROM ONDO SOUTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT AS THE 10TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY INAUGURATED.

In tandem with the Constitution of the Association and to also ensure the Association plays her role in the facilitation of quality representation to Ondo South senatorial district through constant interface and robust relationship with our Representatives, the leadership of OSAWA as ably led by the President Ade-Aworetan Oluwajuwon Adejare in company of other executive members and members of OSAWA across the Six Local Government in Ondo South stormed Abuja on 13th of June, 2023. To felicitate with our Representatives and to also perform the Constitutional duty as stipulated in OSAWA Constitution.

Senator(Dr.) Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR was decorated and conferred being the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District in accordance with the Constitution as a Grand Patron, Member of the Advisory Council, in the same vein, he was also decorated as a Patron of the Association; a well deserving one.

In his response to the leadership of the Association, the Senator, just as he has promised in the course of his campaign has determined to bring about a quality representation to Ondo South senatorial district by using all available means to achieve this through his wide garnered knowledge across the globe and he as well admonishes the delegation to be supportive and value what we have as we all know that in unity we can achieve a lot.

The Association also decorated and conferred Hon. Donald Ojogo, Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ese-Odo/Ilaje Federal Constituency as a Patron, Member of the Advisory Council of the Association as stipulated in the Constitution.

Hon. Donald Ojogo in his response described the award as a challenge and a reminder for him to bear all he has promised his federal constituency in mind which will avail him to serve the people more and pave way for those coming behind.

In the same vein, the Association also decorated and conferred Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye, Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ile-Oluji/ Oke-igbo/Odigbo Federal Constitutiency as a Patron, Member of the Advisory Council of the Association in consonance with the Constitution.

In his response, Hon. Festus Adefiranye expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Association for the honour bestowed on him and also appreciate his constituency and Federal Constituency for supporting him from House of Assembly Member to become Member, House of Representatives, he reiterate that he won’t disappoint his Federal Constituency, the people of Ondo South and Ondo state and will appreciate by ensuring they are being taken into cognizance and be the center of his representation.

The Association also decorated, and conferred Hon.(Prince) Jimi Odimayo, Member of the House of Representatives, representing Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency as a Patron, Member of the Advisory Council as the Constitution posited.

In His response, Hon. Jimi Odimayo considered it a great honour to be awarded and see it as a challenge to fulfil the promises he made in the course of his electioneering campaign and never will he disappointed his Federal Constitutiency, Ondo South senatorial district and Ondo State at large.
He further charged the association to be ready and be resilient in order to get the mantle of leadership because it’s not given freely.

In conclusion, Ondo South Advancement & Welfare Consultative Association (OSAWA) deemed it fit to reach out to our National Lawmakers in order for them to be conscious of Ondo South senatorial district and their Federal Constitutiency respectively in accordance with the Constitution, aims and objectives of the association to ensure a smooth running representation so that the good people of Ondo South senatorial district can be so proud of the mandate given to them.
