The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) transformed Lagos into a beacon of hope and worship on Sunday as it held its vibrant 2025 Annual Thanksgiving Service, drawing thousands of worshippers from across the globe in a powerful display of faith, unity, and national intercession.

Held at the church’s iconic headquarters in Ikotun, the atmosphere was electric from the start, with multilingual praise sessions in Swahili, French, English, and Ashanti echoing the church’s international reach and spiritual diversity.

Leading the celebration was Pastor Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for sustaining the ministry and its members through a year marked by global and national challenges. Her message was one of resilience and unwavering faith.

“We appreciate God for His preservation and faithfulness,” she declared. “Our prayer today is for God’s peace, wisdom, and mercy upon this nation in these challenging times.”

The congregation united in fervent intercession, lifting prayers for Nigeria’s peace, economic revival, and national unity.

Among the international guests was Dr. Patrick Kpashagsi from Uganda, who emphasized that thanksgiving is the heartbeat of SCOAN’s spiritual identity. He praised Pastor Evelyn for her steadfast leadership, saying:

> “Prophet T.B. Joshua founded this ministry on divine instruction, and Pastor Evelyn has remained faithful to that vision. Thanksgiving is how we surrender in gratitude to God.”

Guest preacher Stephen Nbasi from Tanzania delivered a stirring message, urging believers to embrace deeper intimacy with God through faith, obedience, and heartfelt gratitude, pillars he described as essential to a thriving Christian life.

The service concluded with special prayers for families, the church, and the nation, leaving worshippers spiritually uplifted and hopeful for a brighter future.
