Smart Innovation and Creativity Marks Children’s Day 2026 with Message of Inclusion, Compassion
As Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day 2026, Smart Innovation and Creativity has joined families and communities across the country in honouring children with a heartfelt message of love, unity, and inclusion.
This year’s celebration carries special significance as it coincides with a sacred Islamic festive season, highlighting the importance of children as precious gifts deserving care, protection, and happiness.
Speaking on behalf of the organisation, the Convener of Smart Innovation and Creativity, Omolola Olamijulo, extended warm wishes to children across Nigeria, praying for a joyful and memorable celebration for every child.
She also conveyed special greetings to Muslim families observing the festive season.
“We wish every Muslim child, brother, sister, and parent a wonderful and blessed celebration. Barka da Sallah. May this holy season bring peace, unity, and immense joy to your homes,” she said.
Omolola Olamijulo further urged parents, guardians, and members of the public to embrace compassion by reaching out to vulnerable children, including those in orphanages and children living with disabilities.
“Children are a divine trust. True celebration lies in ensuring that no child feels forgotten. We call on everyone today to extend unconditional love, support, and warmth to vulnerable and differently-abled children so they feel valued, included, and appreciated,” she stated.
For over 13 years, Smart Innovation and Creativity has remained committed to promoting inclusion, creativity, and empowerment among children, while bridging the gap between able-bodied and differently-abled youths through impactful community initiatives.
The organisation’s annual programmes include its Children’s Day celebrations held every May 27, which create inclusive opportunities for children to learn, interact, and showcase their talents, as well as its December Charity Funfairs aimed at supporting underserved children and strengthening community integration.
Smart Innovation and Creativity reaffirmed its commitment to using innovation, art, and outreach programmes to create a society where every child, regardless of ability or background, has the opportunity to thrive and shine.
