Adron Homes and Properties has announced plans to participate in the 11th edition of the Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State, while unveiling plans for a Premium Estate development in the ancient city.
The move underscores the real estate company’s growing interest in Ile-Ife and its commitment to combining property development with cultural heritage, tourism and community growth.
The 2026 Olojo Festival, themed “Culture Preservation Through Sustainable Tourism,” is expected to attract traditional rulers, government representatives, corporate organisations, cultural stakeholders, tourists and members of the media to celebrate Yoruba heritage and the historical significance of Ile-Ife.
Ahead of the festival, Adron Homes was represented at the press conference and unveiling ceremony by a delegation from its Western operations. The delegation comprised Ogundapo Odunola, Deputy Managing Director, Western Super-Cluster; Johnson Olugbenga, Assistant Managing Director, Western Galaxy 1; and Shobowale Taiwo, Deputy Sales Manager, Livingspring World.
Their participation highlighted the company’s increasing development interest in Ile-Ife and its efforts to connect real estate investment with cultural preservation and community development.
Speaking at the event, Seyi Oyekunle, Director General, Media, Branding and Corporate Communication, Adron Group, who represented the Managing Director, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, said the company’s participation in the Olojo Festival was driven by the belief that cultural preservation and sustainable development can complement each other.
Oyekunle described the festival’s theme as timely, noting that culture remains central to identity and history, while sustainable tourism has the potential to generate employment, attract investment, promote entrepreneurship and support community development.
He described the Olojo Festival as more than an annual cultural celebration, saying it represents the enduring connection between the past, present and future of Ile-Ife and its place in Yoruba civilisation.
According to him, Adron Group’s vision extends beyond the development of properties.

Adron Unveils Premium Estate Project
A major highlight of Adron Homes’ participation was the unveiling of its proposed Premium Estate project in Ile-Ife.
Oyekunle expressed appreciation to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for the confidence and approval granted to Adron Homes and Properties to undertake the project.
He said the approval carries a responsibility for the company to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ile-Ife while respecting the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
According to him, Adron Homes will deploy its experience, resources and capacity to deliver a development capable of creating value for residents and contributing to the growth of the community.
He described the Premium Estate as more than a property development, stressing that it is expected to attract investment, provide quality housing, support local businesses and strengthen connections between Ile-Ife and sons and daughters of Ifeland and Yorubaland across the world.
He said the project would provide people in the diaspora with an opportunity to “come home, invest home, build home and preserve home.”
Beyond Olojo: Making Ile-Ife a Year-Round Tourism Destination
Oyekunle also called for greater efforts to position Ile-Ife as a year-round tourism destination, stressing that the city’s enormous tourism potential should extend beyond the annual Olojo Festival.
He said sustainable tourism should translate into tangible economic opportunities for residents, particularly artisans, youths, entrepreneurs and operators in the hospitality sector.
The Adron Group executive further encouraged young people to view Yoruba culture and heritage as potential sources of economic opportunities capable of inspiring careers and businesses in areas such as film, technology, fashion, music, arts and tourism.
