The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has praised the leadership capacity, policing expertise, and professional service record of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, during a courtesy visit to the zonal headquarters in Onikan, Lagos.
Speaking during the visit on Friday, Dr. Ogunsan described AIG Jimoh, the immediate past Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, as a proactive and result-driven officer whose tenure significantly strengthened security operations and public confidence across the state.
He noted that under AIG Jimoh’s leadership in Lagos, the strategic deployment of police personnel and operational assets enhanced visible policing, improved rapid response capabilities, and contributed greatly to crime prevention within the metropolis.
Dr. Ogunsan further applauded the achievements recorded by the senior police officer since assuming office at the Zone 2 Command, covering Lagos and Ogun States, describing his leadership style as reform-oriented and responsive to the evolving security realities in the country.
According to him, AIG Jimoh’s efforts align with the ongoing reforms championed by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, aimed at building a more professional, accountable, and people-oriented Nigeria Police Force.
Responding, AIG Olohundare Jimoh expressed appreciation to the LSSTF boss for the visit, which came barely three months after his assumption of office at the zonal command.
He commended Dr. Ogunsan for the strong working relationship established during his tenure as Lagos State Commissioner of Police and urged the LSSTF to continue extending strategic support and partnerships towards enhancing security operations across Lagos and Ogun States.
As part of the visit, the AIG presented a souvenir to Dr. Ogunsan in recognition of his contributions to security administration and leadership.
Dr. Ogunsan reaffirmed the commitment of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund to sustaining strategic interventions and partnerships with security agencies in order to ensure safer communities across Lagos and beyond.
