Ondo 2020: Ogbeni Babade Officially Pitches Tent With ZLP, Tours Constituency To Drum Support For Agbogboye TicketOgbeni Babade Olutope alongside other supporters numbering over 700 today officially pitched their tent with the Zenith Labour Party with the commitment to work for the emergence of the governorship candidate of the party, Hon. Agboola Ajayi in Saturday, October 10 governorship polls in Ondo State.At the official reception held to welcome Ogbeni Babade into the ZLP's fold at Ore ward, Showboy zone as witnessed by party leaders across Omiayo, Showboy, lijoka, Berger, Alapajo to Custain and Alagbado, Ogbeni Babade promised to work and deliver votes for Hon. Ajayi in Saturday's polls.According to him, Hon. Agboola Ajayi is a passionate leader who is interested in the welfare of all and sundry and who would deliver the state from a state of slavery into abundanceOgbeni Babade also used the opportunity to charge the people to come out enmasse and vote for Hon. Agboola Ajayi during Saturday's polls.Some of the party leaders in attendance include the Deputy Governor designate, Hon. Gboye Adegbenro, Alahji Adebayo Oyewumi ZLP chairman Odigbo local government, Mrs Wilbert, Hon. Adepoju Ayobami, Hon. Ajani, the chairman of the ward, Alhaji B.O, Mrs. .Ronke Oladun, Mrs. Dahunsi Grace, Mr. Abiodun Akinpelumi, Yode and Ayokun among others.The Babade's team later moved to the party's secretariat at Ajegunle Road, Ore where they were received by the party's governorship candidate, Hon. Agboola Ajayi who used the opportunity to restate his commitment to serve the people if elected as the Governor, come October 10.Earlier, the team visited the palace at Ofosu where the monarch affirmed his support just as he prayed for peaceful rally and campaign while also urging the youths to desist from any form of violence during and after the election.
