32 SUSPECTS PARADED FOR VARIOUS CRIMES, CP ALABI ASSURES SAFETY AND SECURITY IN LAGOS

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc reiterated the commitment of the men and officers under his administration at the Lagos State Command yesterday when they paraded 32 suspects for different crimes. He maintained that the security of lives and properties of residents of Lagos State will continue to be at the top of his policing vision for Lagos State.
The suspects were paraded for murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism, defilement, sodomy, vandalism, among others. They have been charged to court. ‘From all of these cases which we successfully cracked, we recovered a total of eleven (11) arms, nineteen (19) live ammunition, two (2) Cars, sixteen (16) inverter batteries, six (6) modules, cables, three (3) ATM cards, four (4) sim cards and four (4) phones’, CP Alabi noted.
Some of the cases included one Uchenna Daniels, m, age 30yrs who kidnapped one Miss. Hannatu Kabri age 22yrs in Abuja and fled to Lagos. Operatives of the command tracked and arrested the suspect Uchenna Daniels m at Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. The suspect revealed that the victims boyfriend one Ahmed m and one Biliya m planned the kidnap with him and collected a ransom of Two Million Naira in Kaduna through a Bureau de Change from the parents of the victim before she was released on 28/03/2022. He added that they made use of a Toy Gun to commit the crime.

The police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin briefing Pressmen attended by Members of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP revealed cases of conspiracy, armed robbery, and cultism. On 2nd of February, 2022, at about 0200hrs a group of hoodlums namely Yaya Amosun m age 54yrs, David Ugwi m age 54yrs, Sakariyat Hakeem m age 39yrs, Lateet Balogun m age 38yrs, Kayode Sunday m age 25yrs, Bankole Monsuru m age 25yrs, Akanbi Femi m age 35yrs, Adedyo Yekini m age 50yrs wielding guns and other dangerous weapons invaded Habibat Akande Street, off Tinubu road Igbodo, Lagos with two buses, vandalized service provider network masts and stole sixteen inverter batteries, six modules and a cable wire. On sighting police operatives and vigilante group, the hoodlums opened fire, the security team retaliated leaving three of the armed robbers shot. In the course of investigation, the suspects confessed to being armed robbers who specialized in service provider network theft.
All stolen items were recovered from the suspects. On the 8th of March, 2022, at about 1700hrs, intelligence report gathered revealed that a wanted notorious and deadly cultist, armed robber and serial killer was spotted in Lekki area of Lagos. Police operatives of the CP Strike Team were dispatched to the area where one Sheu Tijani, m, was apprehended with one locally made cut-to-size single Barrel gun, one unexpended cartridge, three ATM cards, four SIM cards, charms, one Itel phone and one Techno android phone. On the 9th of March, 2022, at about 2100hrs, one Okuzo Elizabeth Rodah f, boarded a Toyota Corolla Saloon car with Registration No. AGL 893 BC from Ikeja to Victoria Island, Lagos.
On getting to Iyana-Oworo, she was robbed of all her belongings: iPhone 11 Promax, Gold Neck lace, Gold Wrist Watch, Bangles, Gold Earring, Hair Wigs, Pairs of shoes, valued the sum of Three million, nine hundred and Seventy thousand naira and N20,000 cash by two other occupants of the car wielding a gun. Investigation by operatives of the State CID-Yaba led to the arrest of the two (2) suspects namely Stephen Cedrick m and Sarah Samuel f.
The vehicle used in perpetrating the act and an iPhone were recovered. The suspects confessed to the commission of the crime and will be charged to court soon.

The murder of one Chiyere Ogudoro, f, and Ifeanyi Edoziem, m, by her husband one Benjamin Nkemakolam Ogudoro, m, at House 5, Zone 7, Oteyi Garden Estate, Abule-Ado, Lagos on 01/04/2022, at about 0330hrs. The murder of one Pedro Akinbiyi, m, by Obiora Igboagu, m, which took place in the premises of Exclusive Mansion Hotel situated at No. 74, Jagunmolu Street, Bariga, Lagos on 26/03/2022.
The victim died when Obiora Igboagu during a quarrel hit his head (Pedro Akinbiyi) with a stone. The murder of one Nasiru Zakari m, aged 25 years, by one Tijani Abubakar, m, at No. 22, Gbogunleri Street, Agege, Lagos on 18/03/2022. The victim died when Tijani Abubakar m during a quarrel stabbed him (Nasiru Zakari) to death with a knife.
The deals with a case of the Murder of one Okoh Awoh m aged 67 years by one Odii Ifeanyi m on 18/03/2022 at about 1950hrs. The victim died when Odii Ifeanyi m during a quarrel hit him (Okoh Awoh) with a wheel spanner. The Murder of one Onyiyechi Ahieze f, aged one month by her father one Benedict Ahieze, m, at Idimu, Lagos on 06/04/2022. The victim was killed by Benedict Anieze who in a drunken state smashed her (Onyiyechi Ahieze) head on the floor after a quarrel with his wife. All the suspects will soon be charged to court.
One Pastor Elijah Emenandu m of Chapel of Revelation Ministry, Ajegunle was reported by one Victoria Ajoku f for sodomy of her children. Investigation revealed that for the past eight months, Pastor Elijah Emenandu had been having canal knowledge of Victoria Ajokus children namely Chigozie Ajoku m, age 20yrs, Favour Ajoku m, age 18yrs and Promise Ajoku m, age 15yrs. The case has been charged to court. A case of defilement of one Amarachi Okafor f age 13yrs by one Musa Zakari m, age 21yrs reported by one Joy Ifeoma f the victims mother.
The suspect who is a security guard lured the victim into his room where he had canal knowledge of her. The suspect has been charged to court
