Ayedatiwa Inaugurates oil Association Excos.

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has inaugurated three newly constituted oil association executives to pilot the affairs of the associations for the next four years.

The Deputy Governor while inaugurating the executives at the cocoa conference hall in Akure enjoined the executives to imbibe the spirit of dedication in ensuring the set objectives are achieved for the development of Ilaje kingdom.

The three newly constituted executives inaugurated include Obe Confederation in Conoil, Association of Ilaje Central OIL Producing Communities (ASICOPIC in conoil)and Express /Shebah E &P Operational Area Associations in Ugbo kingdom.

The Deputy Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Environment, Mr Sunday Akinwalere noted that the newly executives shall run the affairs of the three associations until the Petroleum Industry Act becomes operational.

He assured that the oil companies will give the newly inaugurated executives due recognition.

He charged them to be transparent with the oil companies and host communities in ensuring that meaningful projects are executed for the benefit of the Ilaje kingdom.

The Chairman ASICOPIC Prince Adejugba Ogundairo who spoke on behalf of other newly inaugurated executives thanked Governor Akeredolu for the opportunity and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Other representatives admonished the Associations to always relate with the communities so that the dividends of good governance will get to them.

Present at the occasion were the representatives of Olubo of Obenla and Alagho of Odo-Nla among other dignitaries.
