Venerable Superior Evangelist Akinlose Felix Enikan Oselu, also known as Omo afun GBELEJE, is the shepherd of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ebute Igbala Olota, Abule-Egba, Lagos State. In a recent message, he described the Christmas season as a time to show love to one another, particularly among Christians. This love should be extended to family, friends, and even those outside the Christian faith.

According to Evangelist Akinlose, the birth of Jesus Christ is a gift to the world, and as such, it is a time for joy and celebration. He encouraged Christians to be joyful within themselves, as this joy is not exclusive to Christians alone. Rather, it is a celebration that should be shared with people of all faiths, including Muslims and traditionalists, as Jesus Christ came to save everyone.

During an interview with the media, Evangelist Akinlose expressed his disapproval of fireworks in the church during Christmas celebrations. He referenced the book of Isaiah, which describes the birth of Jesus Christ, emphasizing that Christmas is a time for reverence and worship, not for reckless celebrations. He also cautioned against drinking alcohol or committing atrocities that go against God’s will.

Evangelist Akinlose advised Christians to draw closer to God, be prayerful, and stay away from sin. He reassured his followers that God still answers prayers. By prioritizing their spiritual well-being, Christians can experience a deeper sense of joy and peace during the Christmas season.

In addition to his spiritual guidance, Evangelist Akinlose also addressed the issue of security during Christmas celebrations. He emphasized that God is the ultimate security, and that individuals should seek divine protection before relying on physical measures. By involving God in their lives, Evangelist Akinlose assured his followers that everything will go well.
