Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol, Diesel Prices, Cuts PMS to ₦1,165/Litre and Diesel to ₦1,570/Litre
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel), reinforcing its commitment to making high-quality petroleum products more affordable for Nigerians.
Effective Thursday, August 6, the refinery reduced the ex-depot price of PMS to ₦1,165 per litre from ₦1,215 per litre, representing a ₦50 per litre price cut. The ex-depot price of Diesel was also lowered from ₦1,650 per litre to ₦1,570 per litre, a reduction of ₦80 per litre.
According to the company, the latest price adjustment reflects its sustained efforts to improve energy affordability, expand access to refined petroleum products, and support economic growth across the country.
Dangote Refinery reiterated its commitment to maintaining a stable supply of petroleum products while leveraging operational efficiencies to deliver greater value to consumers, businesses, and other stakeholders.
