HON. TAJUDEEN ADEFISOYE DONATES ASSORTED DRUGS TO HEALTH INSTITUTIONS IN IDANRE…thetochligtnews reporting
The Honorable member representing Idanre/ Ifedore Federal Constituency, Alhaj Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye, alias “Small Alhaj” had earlier today donated assorted drugs worth millions of Naira to the General Hospital, Idanre and other health related institutions in Idanre Local Government Area.
Making the donation on behalf of the donor, one of his Legislative Aide 1 on Politics and Legislative duties, Mr. Vincent Akinde alias “Vijay” said Hon. Adefisoye had procured the drugs for distribution to the various health facilities in order to enhance the health status of the people and also because it was part of his electoral promises to make issues pertaining to the health of his people to be of utmost priority. He used the opportunity to laud Dr. Kayode Omishogbon, the Chief Medical Director of General Hospital, Idanre for the rapid transformation that the hospital had witnessed within the few years of his assumption of duty there.
The Deputy Medical Director, Dr. Odekunle Olufemi, hospital Secretary, Mr. Fowosele Dayo and the Head of Nurses, Rev. Mrs Modupe Adeleke received the materials on behalf of the Chief Medical Director who was on another important assignment elsewhere.
While speaking with Idanre Media Services, Dr. Omishogbon expressed gratitude to Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye for his kind hearted gestures. He promised to ensure maximum use of the drugs as he called other philanthropist to emulate his good and commendable gesture.
Meanwhile, a very reliable source close to the hospital management revealed that about 90% of the drugs will be distributed to Primary Health Centres in the Local Government very early next year to ensure they reach the targetted beneficiaries.
One of the people who was at the General Hospital, Idanre venue said he was not surprised that Alhaj Adefisoye did this donation because many had known him for always having a caring and humane heart for the needy ones in our society
