MoneyMaster PSB has intensified efforts towards growing the adoption of cashless banking with an 8 percent interest offer on its G-Kala savings accounts for new and existing customers.
The Bank, in a statement in Lagos, said, “both new and existing G-Kala savings account owners will enjoy 8 percent interest rate per annum for all deposits made into their G-Kala savings account,” adding that customers “must ensure not more than a maximum of three withdrawals is carried out in a month. The interest amount will be calculated and credited monthly”.
Towards ensuring its adoption, the bank promoted by digital services company Globacom, called on new customers to log on to its website, https://customer.
MoneyMaster PSB stated that G-Kala is a specially designed product for the benefit of customers who may not have easy access to banks. G-Kala, it said, brings the benefits of banking to their phones by allowing them to deposit, withdraw money, send money to other banks, buy airtime as well as pay bills such as electricity, water, DSTV, etc., through the use of USSD services on their phones without having a need for the internet.
“It offers a convenient and safe alternative for banking transactions anywhere and anytime as it works real time, making it safer, faster, more convenient and cheaper than the traditional money transfer services”. The bank explained further.
Reminding its customers of the benefits that awaits them, the bank said, “This is an exciting opportunity for all to open a G-Kala account with MoneyMaster PSB, deposit money in the wallet and enjoy 8 percent interest rate per annum”.
