Ogun CP Hosts Nigerian Cancer Society, Emphasises Early Detection and Prevention
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D, has received a delegation of the Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS), Ogun State Chapter, led by its Secretary, Dr. Bolaji Lateef Salako, during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to sensitise the Commissioner and members of the Command’s Management Team on cancer awareness, preventive measures, and the critical importance of early detection in reducing cancer-related deaths.
CP Ogunlowo commended the Nigerian Cancer Society for the initiative and appreciated the gesture of collaboration, noting that the engagement would significantly enhance health consciousness, preventive care, and overall well-being among police officers and the general public.
