OIL THEFT: NSCDC CG SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE SQUAD ARRESTED 4 SUSPECTS, 6 OIL TANKERS IN DELTA

The Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Commandant General Special Intelligence Squad have arrested four suspects of illegal oil bunkering and impouded six Tankers and two Vehicles laden with illegaly Refined Automotive Gas Oil popularly called Diesel at Orobo village, Ofoni River Waterside, Patani LGA of Delta State.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Corps’ Director of Public Relations Officer, DCC Olusola Odumosu stated that, “Following credible intelligence and mounted 24 hours surveillance, the Commandant General Special Intelligence Squad arrested 4 Suspects and impouded 6 Tankers and 2 Vehicles laden with illegaly Refined Automotive Gas Oil popularly called Diesel at Orobo village, Ofoni River Waterside, Patani LGA of Delta State.”
According to the statement, “The Oil Tankers were intercepted while conveying very large quantities of locally and illegaly refined AGO in Tankers and many cellophane bags packed in the two vehicles.”
The 6 trucks exhibit have since been successfully evecauted and handed over to the Delta State Command for further investigation and prosecution.
