OSAWA Shortlists 50 Candidates for Skills Aquisition and Empowerment

In furtherance to the activities of this year’s Ondo South Security, Economic and Leadership Summit(OSSELS), the Ondo South Advancement and Welfare Consultative Association (OSAWA) has shortlisted the fifty (50) applicants for Skills acquisition programme.
Recall that on the sidelines of OSSELS2.0 are quiz competition, symposium and skills acquisition.
Going forward, the skills acquisition and empowerment programme has gained traction with 50 applicants whom have been shortlisted to undertake trainings in the six (6) local government areas of Ondo South Senatorial district.
The list of applicants that was collated and reviewed by the Skills Acquisition Planning Committee has been transferred to the office of the president according to Adebayo O. Megbalewon the Chief of Staff to the President. As shown in the list, Ileoluji/Okeigbo LGA is at the top with twenty-two (22) applicants while Okitipupa LGA and Ilaje LGA have sixteen (16) and seven (7) applicants, respectively.
Three (3) applicants from Ese-Odo LGA; but Irele LGA and Odigbo LGA have one (1) applicant, each.
For emphasis, the fifty (50) applicants are all shortlisted candidates for the programme and they’re by this release notified that commencing from the first-week of August 2021, the President of OSAWA, Ade-Aworetan Oluwajuwon Adejare will be leading a monitoring team to set up the OSAWA Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Centre across the six (6) local government areas of Ondo South Senatorial district. The registration of candidates will also kick-off, immediately, in their various centres.
