Leading Nigerian financial institution, Polaris Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Cyclotron Cycling Development Initiatives, popularly known as Cyclotron Club, to strengthen the Bank’s flagship wellness campaign, LiveWell by Polaris, aimed at promoting healthy living, preventive healthcare, and overall wellbeing across Nigeria.

The partnership was officially unveiled during a ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters in Lagos last Saturday, where both organisations introduced a co-branded partnership jersey symbolising their shared commitment to wellness advocacy and healthier lifestyles through cycling.

LiveWell by Polaris is a comprehensive wellness initiative established by Polaris Bank to encourage physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and healthy lifestyle choices among employees, customers, and communities. Through fitness challenges, health awareness campaigns, and strategic collaborations, the programme reinforces the Bank’s belief that wellbeing is critical to productivity, financial success, and sustainable development.

Cyclotron Club, a premium not-for-profit association, is renowned for promoting safe, organised, and healthy cycling among professionals from sectors such as medicine, finance, law, technology, academia, and the automobile industry. The club is also recognised for its impactful advocacy campaigns, including the Lagos–Accra–Lagos Ride for Autism, which raises awareness and support for individuals living with autism and their families.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Chris Ofikulu described the collaboration as a significant milestone in the Bank’s commitment to wellness and corporate social responsibility.

According to him, the partnership reflects Polaris Bank’s dedication to promoting healthier lifestyles while expanding the reach of its social impact initiatives.

“This partnership is a significant step in the evolution of LiveWell by Polaris and reflects our commitment to championing healthier lifestyles and meaningful social impact,” he stated.

He further explained that by supporting Cyclotron Club’s advocacy-driven cycling campaigns, including the Ride for Autism initiative, the Bank is extending its CSR footprint while encouraging Nigerians to embrace wellness as a foundation for success and quality living.

Ofikulu noted that the initiative aligns with the Bank’s broader vision of creating value beyond banking and contributing positively to society.

“Cycling is not only a globally recognised sport but also one of the most effective ways to stay physically fit. Through LiveWell by Polaris, we are investing in the health and wellbeing of our people and the communities we serve because we firmly believe that health is wealth,” he added.

In her remarks, Eziafakaku Nwokolo applauded Polaris Bank for supporting wellness-focused initiatives and promoting social impact through strategic collaboration.

She expressed confidence that the partnership would strengthen the Club’s advocacy efforts and provide greater opportunities for professional cyclists to compete both locally and internationally.

The event also featured an exciting cycling skills demonstration by members of Cyclotron Club, showcasing the discipline, energy, and excellence that define the organisation’s activities.

Through LiveWell by Polaris, Polaris Bank continues to reinforce its position as a socially responsible institution committed to promoting healthier communities, inspiring positive lifestyle choices, and delivering sustainable impact beyond banking.
