Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has returned from a brief vacation with a renewed resolve to deepen his engagement with the people of Ogun State and advance his vision for a greater and more prosperous state.
The Ogun West Senator and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations expressed appreciation to his supporters and well-wishers for sustaining the political momentum and keeping faith with his cause during his brief absence.
In a message welcoming himself back to the state, Adeola assured the people that his temporary absence had not affected his commitment to their welfare or his determination to continue delivering effective representation.
“Good morning to all the good people of Ogun State. Good to be back after a brief vacation. Appreciation to all supporters for keeping the flag flying higher even in my brief absence,” he said.
The Senator, in his characteristic manner, further declared: “The Eagle has landed,” signalling his return to active political and developmental engagements across Ogun State.
His comeback coincides with increasing political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, as political actors and stakeholders across the state intensify consultations, mobilisation and strategic positioning.
But beyond the emerging political calculations, Senator Adeola’s message was also anchored on governance and development. He reaffirmed his commitment to effective representation and the advancement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Addressing the people of Ogun State, Yayi declared: “Omo Ogun Iseya ooo. 2027 is around the corner. We are ready to take Ogun to greater heights.”
The statement has generated fresh enthusiasm among his supporters, who regard the Senator’s return as an indication of his readiness to consolidate his political engagements and developmental initiatives across Ogun West and beyond.
With 2027 gradually drawing closer, Adeola’s return is expected to inject fresh momentum into his engagements with constituents, political stakeholders, community leaders and supporters across the state.
