Yoruba Community Of Nigeria in Gabon Elects New Exco’s

The Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Gabon, formerly known as The Yoruba Youth Welfare Association in Gabon has elected their new executive to paddle the association.
The purpose of the association we gathered is to help the population of more than 5million Yorubas’ that live in Gabon to live in harmony, love, support each other in terms of health challenges, financial problems, accomodations issues, visa issues and many more.
The Yorubas’ in Gabon comprises of people from Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo States.
The association also belongs to African Union.
The newly elected executive consist of Hon. Wasiu Osifuye, President, Hon. Akanbi Yinus, Vice President, Hon. Abiodun Ogundeji, Secretary, Hon. Ola Atiwaye Joseph, Treasurer, Hon. Leke Oreofe, Social secretary, Hon. Adeoti, Asst. Social secretary,
Pro. Hon.Olanrewaju Adedayo aka SP, and Hon. Ayo Gasali, Disciplinary Officer.
According to the new President, Hon. Wasiu Osifuye, he’s seizing this opportunity to request for the support of Nigerian government, corporate organizations for their support in every area because their association is more of an NGO’s.”This new government is using this medium to ask for the support of Nigerian government, corporate organizations and like-minded people to come to our aid for support, because, we are just like an NGO. I also pray for the out-going executive for God to be with them, as our new government shall do our best to uplift this association.”
The association was founded in 1993 after June 12 annulment.
