AIG FAYOADE Decorates Abaniwonda, Zone 2 PPRO Ayuba, Oguñ State PPRO Odutola and Other 40 Senior Police Officers With New Rank…. Charge Them on Professionalism

AIG Fayoade Adegoke recently decorated several senior police officers with new ranks, marking a promising start to the year 2025. The ceremony, attended by dignitaries such as the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, and Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunnowo, was a testament to the Nigerian Police Force’s commitment to excellence

Among the decorated officers were Abaniwonda, Ameh-Akpa, Shittu, Zone 2 PPRO Ayuba, and Ogun PPRO Odutola. AIG Fayoade urged the newly promoted officers to redouble their efforts in improving the force’s image, ensuring public safety, and upholding integrity. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, commitment to duty, and shunning corruption.

The AIG also warned against forceful collection of money from the public, stressing that diligent service would earn appreciation from Nigerians. He encouraged the officers to show empathy, love, and kindness in the discharge of their duties, adding that Nigerians are generous and would appreciate good deeds

A total of 43 officers were decorated with new ranks, including 10 Chief Superintendents of Police promoted to Assistant Commissioners of Police and 33 Superintendents promoted to Chief Superintendents. The ceremony was a significant milestone in the careers of the decorated officers, and AIG Fayoade’s words of wisdom will undoubtedly guide them as they take on new responsibilities

AIG Fayoade applauded the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for approving the promotions, expressing his belief that it would boost the morale of the beneficiaries to perform better in the discharge of their duties ¹.
