He has served as Chairman of the NBA Ikeja Branch, Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chairman of the NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), and currently chairs the NBA Electoral Reform Committee, where he continues to champion initiatives aimed at strengthening the credibility and integrity of the legal profession.
Beyond the legal community, Dr. Ubani serves as Legal Adviser to the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and to the Assemblies of God Nigeria, while also providing legal counsel to several corporate organisations and charitable institutions. His historic emergence as the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Ikwuano in Abia State remains a landmark achievement that continues to inspire aspiring lawyers across Nigeria.
A devoted Christian and respected Kingdom Ambassador, Dr. Ubani has consistently demonstrated exemplary servant leadership within the Church. As a Deacon in the Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria, and a distinguished Clasfonite, he has remained committed to advancing the Gospel. During his tenure as President of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Allen Executive Chapter, he recorded a remarkable feat by facilitating the establishment of two new fellowship chapters in a single day.
