The monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, the Owa of Idanre, passed away on 30th July 2024 at the age of 98. His death was announced by the Idanre Palace, and it sent shockwaves throughout Ondo State and beyond.

Oba Aroloye was a revered and respected traditional ruler who reigned for over 48 years. During his reign, he worked tirelessly to promote the cultural heritage and development of Idanre Kingdom. He was known for his wisdom, kindness, and dedication to his people.

The people of Idanre and Ondo State mourned the loss of their beloved monarch, who was to be buried in a traditional ceremony ,His legacy continues to live on, and he will be remembered as a great leader who contributed significantly to the growth and development of Idanre Kingdom.
