IYALOJA GENERAL OF NIGERIA MRS. FOLASHADE TINUBU-OJO VISITS ALHAJI SALIU TANKO YAKASAI IN KANO

The Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo paid a thank you visit to Alhaji Salihu Abubakar Tanko Yakasai, the 97 year old Marxist Leninist, elder statesman and human rights activist at his Kano residence.
This was a historic visit as Alhaji Yakasai is a very well respected and prominent Nigerian politician; a founding member of the Arewa Consultative Forum and was a legislative assistant to President Shehu Shagari former President Federal Republic of Nigeria during the 2nd Republic.
Comrade Ayodele Adewale, the State Organising Secretary APC Lagos State Chapter and Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Special Duties 2 Directorate and Deputy National Coordinator Grassroots Movement for Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima (G-MATS) joined the Iyaloja General of Nigeria at this historic visit.
They were warmly welcomed by Alhaji Salihu Tanko Yakasai who promised to win over 3 million votes for Asiwaju from the 19 Northern States.
Members of his immediate family at the meeting included Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, son of Alhaji Tanko Yakasai and National Coordinator Grassroots Movement for Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima (G-MATS). Dr. Umar Yakasai was also a former Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), former President National Youth Council of Nigeria and presently the Special Adviser on Employment to Governor Umar Ganduje, Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai President northern young professionals et all
The Iyaloja General was conferred as a member of Grassroots Movement for Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima by Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai and Comrade Ayodele Adewale. Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo gladly accepted the membership and promised to work tirelessly for the group’s agenda as the name connotes.
