
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Mustapha Adegoke Fayoade, is among eight top police officers shortlisted for promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG). According to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), CP Fayoade will face an interview panel on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Police Service Commission (PSC) headquarters in Abuja.
The interview, scheduled for the PSC Chairman’s Conference Room, will also feature seven other Commissioners of Police, including Bennett C Igweh, Sulaiman Muhammed Abdul, and Augustina Nwuka Ogbodo, among others.
Prior to the interview, the eight Commissioners have been instructed to report to the Force Headquarters for briefing and documentation. The promotion exercise is a significant milestone in the careers of these senior police officers, and NAOSNP wishes them the best of luck in their pursuit of higher rank and greater responsibilities.”
