OLUOMO OF ISHERI BAGS RECOGNITION AWARD AS NUT ALIMOSHO CELEBRATES WORLD TEACHER’S DAY.
The Nigeria Union of Teachers Lagos state Alimosho branch celebrates teacher’s day tagged “Teachers at the heart of education recovery”
The commemorative event was held on tuesday, 5th October at the NUT secretariat, Oki school complex, in attendance are high personalities while Prince Idris Balogun a.k.a Oluomo of Isheri was honored with an award by NUT for his immeasurable contribution towards educational development in Alimosho constituency.
Oluomo kafata has fondly called is a business man, a philanthropist and a politician who has been relentless towards other areas of development in Alimosho donated two buses for students shuttle across Alimosho routes including thousands of items such as 80leaves notes, school bags, launch bags and also promised the NUT council a personal bus.
In his statement, he revealed so many agendas that will be of benefit to the people of Alimosho also he urged the people of Alimosho to vote for the right candidate so as to have their desired expectations.
The chairman of the occasion comrade Isaac Olubunmi Olowoyo commends all teachers for their efforts over three decades NUT has been in existence in Alimosho.
the glamorous gathering inaugurated elder’s council of NUT, Alimosho that will serve as advisory body and mediator for their cooperative forum and other arms of the council which happened to be the first of its kind.
In a speech by world teacher’s day chairman, comrade Ogunnowo Olushola, he stated why they’ve decided to celebrate this year’s edition in a different way by awarding some of the great and good people of Alimosho that has contributed immensely towards education which Prince Idris Balogun was one of the recipient.
