Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu: You Accepted the challenges; feel the exhilaration of victory.

Ours is a period of reflective celebration. You have been to the battle field when one would think the raging war would bring the mighty down but came out unscathed.
I write on behalf of the noble people of Ondo South Advancement And Welfare Consultative Association {OSAWA} to congratulate you and our worthy son, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for sailing through the turbulent sea of this last election.
I will only enjoin His Excellency Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to be magnanimous in victory. Don’t forget the toils of all party men and women most especially our leaders from the South who buried their ambition for the greater good of all.
As for our leaders in Ondo South, now is the time to forge a common front. Pursuing our personal interests while romancing with this government won’t do us any good. Let’s call for an Ondo South Consultative Meeting across party and ethnic line where we can tell our story of development in days to come. Henceforth, we shall be alive to the mandate of our existence, bringing out leaders to take responsibility for the result of their actions and inactions on us.
Finally Sir, Theodore Roosevelt said that: “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” Please, be magnanimous in victory.
Your all round success in the whole of Ondo South is a clear indication that our people are solidly behind your government. Pay us back by delivering on your promises. The complete restoration of electricity back to our areas, the Deep Sea Port and the Agbabu Bitumen Explorations should be topmost Sir. We promised our continued support to the government on all veritable policies that would favour the masses.
Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan. The Ondo State people are the winners. No victor, no vanquished.
