The Lagos State Police Command has recorded another operational success with the arrest of a 30-year-old suspect, Dare Shogaolu, popularly known as “Super M,” and the recovery of a locally made pistol during a routine stop-and-search operation in Mushin.

The arrest occurred on March 5, 2026, at about 10:00 p.m., when operatives of the Anti-Crime Patrol Team attached to the Mushin Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), were on routine patrol along the LUTH Road axis in Mushin.

According to police sources, the officers intercepted a suspicious-looking man carrying a white and orange-yellow polythene bag. A search conducted on the bag led to the recovery of one locally made pistol.
