Primate Ayodele Stuns Church Members with Fully Furnished House, Seven Cars at 2026 Thanksgiving Celebration
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, surprised members of his congregation with life-changing gifts, including a fully furnished house, seven vehicles and several empowerment packages during the church’s 2026 Mid-Year Thanksgiving Programme.
The remarkable event, held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, left many beneficiaries overwhelmed with emotion as they received unexpected gifts from the renowned cleric. Although Primate Ayodele is widely known for his philanthropic activities, the magnitude of this year’s donations exceeded the expectations of worshippers and guests.
One of the beneficiaries attended the thanksgiving service with his wife in a modest salon car, unaware that he would drive home in a brand-new Toyota SUV. Before presenting the vehicle, Primate Ayodele asked the couple to make a token donation to the church. After they complied, he returned the money, added more to it, and handed them the keys to the new SUV, leaving the couple speechless with joy.
In another emotional moment, a long-time supporter of the ministry, though not a full church member, was called out by the prophet. Having previously received a vehicle from Primate Ayodele years earlier, he was asked to surrender the keys to his old car. The cleric immediately directed that the vehicle be donated to another church member as an empowerment gift.
Moments later, Primate Ayodele stunned him again by presenting him with the keys to a newer Toyota vehicle, ensuring he returned home in a better car than the one he arrived with.
The programme also recognised dedicated ministers, with two pastors receiving vehicles. One was presented with a Mercedes-Benz, while the other received a Lexus SUV in appreciation of their service.
Beyond the direct gifts, Primate Ayodele introduced an empowerment raffle in which members who contributed N1 million were entered into a draw to win vehicles valued at about N7 million each. Four winners emerged and were presented with different vehicles.
The biggest surprise of the day, however, was reserved for the church’s second-in-command. To the amazement of the congregation, Primate Ayodele presented him with the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for a fully furnished house in Lagos, drawing prolonged applause and emotional reactions from worshippers.
As part of the thanksgiving outreach, the cleric also expanded his subsidy market initiative to ease the economic burden on members and residents. Essential food items were sold at heavily discounted prices, with a bag of rice going for N30,000, cartons of Indomie noodles sold for N4,000, and loaves of bread for N1,500, among other subsidised products.
Students from schools across Lagos State also benefited from the programme, while widows, elderly persons, traders, church workers and other vulnerable groups received financial assistance and empowerment support.
The thanksgiving celebration ended on a high note, with many beneficiaries describing June 28, 2026, as a memorable day they believed God used the ministry of Primate Elijah Ayodele to transform their lives.
