JMG Elevator Powers Victor Attah International Airport with 16 TK Elevator Units, Expands Project to 19
JMG Elevator, the Elevator and Escalator division of JMG Limited, has successfully completed the installation of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport in Akwa Ibom State, further strengthening its reputation as a leading provider of vertical transportation solutions in Nigeria.
The milestone comes as the airport recently commenced internal operations, welcoming its first commercial flight to Accra, Ghana. The maiden flight carried the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and other top government officials.
Designed to meet international aviation standards, Victor Attah International Airport features world-class infrastructure that demands safe, reliable, and efficient passenger movement. To support these operations, JMG Elevator supplied and installed 12 elevators and four escalators across the facility.
Beyond the installation, the company is also providing comprehensive maintenance support for all the units to ensure optimal performance, passenger safety, and long-term operational reliability.
In recognition of the project’s success, the airport has commissioned JMG Elevator to install three additional units, comprising one lift and two escalators. Upon completion, the total number of TK Elevator units at the airport will rise to 19.

The project features a combination of passenger lifts, goods lifts, standard lifts, and panoramic lifts. The goods lifts have capacities of up to 1,250 kilograms, while the passenger lifts can carry up to 1,000 kilograms. The four indoor escalators are designed to facilitate smooth and continuous passenger movement throughout the terminal.
Given the high-traffic demands of airport operations, the installed systems are built to deliver consistent performance while enhancing accessibility and improving the overall passenger experience.
