
The Publisher of The Tochlight Africa, Miss Fanayajo Ranti, has extended warm congratulations to Mayor Samson Oki on his appointment as Media Consultant to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
Ranti, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos, and Personal Assistant to Oki, described the appointment as well-deserved and a testament to his years of dedication to security reporting and media excellence.
She commended the Chief Executive Officer of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, for recognizing Mayor Samson Oki’s competence and entrusting him with such a strategic role within Lagos State’s security communication framework.
According to her,Mayor Samson Oki, who is also President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), has consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment in promoting security awareness and fostering collaboration between media practitioners and security agencies.
“His appointment did not come as a surprise, considering his track record in responsible journalism, crisis communication, and security advocacy,” she stated.
Ranti expressed confidence that Oki’s wealth of experience would significantly enhance the media visibility of the LSSTF, strengthen public trust, and further support ongoing efforts to improve security across Lagos State.
She wished him success in his new role and reaffirmed her support for his continued contributions to national development through effective media engagement.
