As the Special Adviser to the Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, I embarked on a series of meetings aimed at promoting political stability and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders. My team and I began the day with a working visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana), where we discussed our strategic plans and achievements. I reaffirmed my commitment to facilitating collaboration, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that party differences do not hinder governance.
The SSG expressed his appreciation for our efforts and pledged his support before, during, and after the elections. We presented him with campaign materials to symbolize our symbiotic relationship.
Next, we met with the State Permanent Secretary on Political and Economic matters, Mr. Akeju, who pledged his unwavering support and commitment to our mission. He wished us well in our quest to manage relationships between political parties and ensure peaceful dialogue.
The day culminated in a meeting with the Executives of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), a vital platform for fostering dialogue, promoting cooperation, and driving progress across political divides. The Chairman thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for appointing the first-ever SA on Inter-Party Affairs in Ondo State’s history. I shared the Governor’s message of inclusive growth and his commitment to providing for all citizens, regardless of party affiliations.
These meetings marked a significant step towards building bridges and fostering collaboration in Ondo State’s political landscape.”
