Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, has paid glowing tribute to former Ogun State Governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, as he marks his 87th birthday.
In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Senator Adeola described Chief Osoba as a revered elder statesman, accomplished journalist, former governor and one of the foremost leaders of the APC, whose remarkable contributions have left an enduring imprint on Ogun State and Nigeria.
“We heartily congratulate our revered leader, elder statesman, renowned journalist, former Governor of Ogun State, and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Olusegun Osoba, CON, on the joyous occasion of his 87th birthday,” Senator Adeola said.
The lawmaker praised Osoba’s exemplary life, describing it as a shining testament to courage, integrity, visionary leadership and selfless service to the nation.
According to him, Osoba distinguished himself as one of Nigeria’s finest journalists through fearless and impactful reporting that helped shape the country’s media landscape. He added that as Governor of Ogun State and a leading progressive, Osoba strengthened democratic governance while laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.
Senator Adeola also acknowledged the elder statesman’s enduring influence within the APC, noting that his wisdom, fatherly guidance and unwavering commitment to the progress of Ogun State and Nigeria continue to inspire generations of leaders.
Offering prayers for the celebrant, the Ogun West Senator wished Osoba continued good health, divine grace and renewed strength.
