The Adele Olu of Ilaro-Yewa, High Chief Abiodun Olalekan Ilo, has commended Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), representing Ogun West in the National Assembly, for his far-reaching developmental projects across the senatorial district.

Speaking from the United States during an online interview with Abu-Satar Hamed of StarTrend International Magazine, High Chief Ilo said he was highly impressed by the massive infrastructural improvements he witnessed during his recent visit to Nigeria for the 2025 Oronna Ilaro Festival.

According to him, the visible impact of Senator Adeola’s representation is remarkable.
“I’m indeed overwhelmed by the people-oriented projects I saw — township roads, newly constructed classrooms, ICT centres, renovated hospitals with modern equipment, police stations, and recreational centres,” he said.

He added that numerous beneficiaries of training and empowerment programmes also attested to the senator’s positive interventions across Ogun West.

The US-based traditional chief stated that Senator Adeola’s achievements in just over two years clearly demonstrate his capability to excel as the Governor of Ogun State in 2027, God willing.

While noting that he has not yet had a personal meeting with Senator Adeola — whom he described as very accessible — High Chief Ilo expressed optimism about engaging with him soon.

He called on the people of Ogun West and the entire Ogun State to appreciate and support the senator’s God-given abilities by rallying behind his 2027 gubernatorial ambition.

High Chief Ilo further disclosed that he, his wife, and other Ogun State indigenes in the United States are mobilizing support among citizens abroad, encouraging them to return home to vote and actively promote Senator Adeola’s candidacy ahead of the 2025 elections.

He concluded by urging residents to remain vigilant, stay security conscious, and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
