CP ZAMFARA, ELKANAH DECORATES 152 NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
• CHARGES THEM TO RECIPROCATE THE GESTURE AND BE MORE ALIVE TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY

The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Police Command, CP Ayuba N. Elkanah has decorated One hundred and fifty two (152) officers newly Promoted to different ranks by the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba in Collaboration with the Police Service Commission.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, SP Mohammed Shehu stated that, “The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Police Command, CP Ayuba N. Elkanah psc(+) has today Wednesday, 8th June, 2022 decorated One hundred and fifty two (152) officers newly Promoted to different ranks by the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc(+), NPM, fdc, in Collaboration with the Police Service Commission.” The breakdown of the Promotion is as follows :-
1. DSP – SP 2
2. ASP – DSP 11
3. ASP II – ASP 1 47
4. INSPR – ASP II 92
According to the statement, In his address, “The Commissioner of Police congratulated the newly promoted officers on behalf of the Inspector General of Police and charged them to be more determined and committed to their duty. The CP also urged the promotees to consider their promotion as an additional responsibility, that requires more professionalism, hard work and discipline.”
In a vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DSP Nuhu Samuel expressed their unalloyed appreciation to the Inspector General of Police, the Police Service Commission and the Commissioner of Police for considering them worthy of the promotion and promised to redouble their commitment in the discharge of their duties.
The ceremony was attended by members of the command management team, Area Commanders and other Heads of Department.
