Fidelity Bank has introduced convenient digital and branch channels through which investors can subscribe to the landmark Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Initial Public Offering (IPO) in less than two minutes.
The initiative is designed to make the offer accessible to existing Fidelity Bank customers, corporate organisations and non-customers, both in Nigeria and abroad.
Investors can subscribe through the Fidelity Bank iOS and Android Mobile Apps, the Bank’s corporate online banking platform and designated Fidelity Bank branches nationwide.
A major feature of the subscription solution is the provision of Virtual Accounts for investors who are not Fidelity Bank customers. Through the Bank’s website, non-customers can initiate their subscription, receive dedicated Virtual Account details and fund their applications from an operational bank account.
The Virtual Account option eliminates the need for prospective investors to open a regular Fidelity Bank account before participating in the offer. It also accommodates third-party funded subscriptions, providing an additional digital route for investors seeking to participate in the IPO.
Existing retail customers can complete their subscriptions through the Fidelity Bank Mobile App, while corporate customers can use the Bank’s corporate online banking platform, subject to the applicable inputter and authoriser process.
For additional assistance, investors can visit any Fidelity Bank branch or contact Fidelity TrueServe on 070034335489, via WhatsApp on 09030005252, or email trueserve@fidelitybank.ng. Dedicated personnel are available round the clock to assist intending subscribers and ensure a seamless application process.
Investors are required to provide relevant identification and account information. Depending on the subscription route, this may include a Bank Verification Number (BVN) for non-Fidelity Bank account holders, a National Identification Number (NIN) for minors, and an active operational account or online banking profile for Fidelity Bank customers.
Investors without an existing Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account can also participate in the offer. A stockbroking account may be opened through Fidelity Securities Limited to facilitate the electronic crediting of allotted shares following completion of the allotment process.
Upon successful authorisation of a subscription, the investor’s selected account will be debited or the assigned Virtual Account funded, as applicable. The investor will then receive a confirmation message, transaction reference and receipt as evidence of the application.
The initiative underscores Fidelity Bank’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion and expanding access to Nigeria’s capital market through simple, technology-driven and inclusive investment solutions.
Prospective investors are advised to carefully review the approved Offer Prospectus before making an investment decision. The prospectus contains the applicable eligibility requirements, offer price, minimum subscription, permissible multiples, offer period and other terms governing the IPO.
