Interswitch Group, Africa’s integrated payments and commerce company, has its headline sponsorship of the Inspire Africa Conference, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship and the next generation of African product builders.

The partnership marks the third edition of the conference supported by Interswitch, extending a collaboration that has spanned nearly three years since 2023.

The 2026 edition of the conference, themed “From Problems to Products,” is scheduled for October 14–15, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. It will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, product leaders, founders, business executives and other ecosystem stakeholders to explore how real-world challenges can be transformed into impactful, scalable and sustainable products.

Over the past three editions, Interswitch’s product teams and professionals have actively participated in the conference through knowledge-sharing sessions, industry networking, thought leadership engagements and discussions focused on Africa’s evolving technology and innovation landscape.

Speaking on the renewed partnership, Tomi Ogunlesi, Divisional Head, Brands & Communications, Interswitch Group, said the company’s continued support reflects its belief in connecting ideas, talent and practical solutions to address Africa’s unique challenges.

According to her, Africa’s greatest opportunities lie in identifying pressing problems and developing products that are relevant, scalable and sustainable.

She noted that the Inspire Africa Conference has provided an important platform for Interswitch employees to learn, connect with fellow innovators and contribute to conversations shaping the future of products and technology across the continent.

Also speaking, Christian Idiodi, Partner at Silicon Valley Product Group and Co-Founder of Inspire Africa Conference, described the theme of this year’s edition as a call to action for Africa’s product community.

He said the continent’s builders must become better at identifying the problems that matter and developing products that genuinely work for African markets, adding that Interswitch’s continued partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to equipping Africa’s innovators with the knowledge, connections and confidence required to build impactful solutions.

As part of its participation at the 2026 conference, Interswitch will contribute to several key programme activities, including leading conversations on a select panel and shaping the product narrative on its dedicated stage at the Founder’s Track on Thursday, October 15.

The company will also host an interactive exhibition, giving participants an opportunity to engage with its team and gain insights into emerging product trends and some of its latest innovations.

With this year’s conference focused on moving from identifying problems to creating products that deliver tangible impact, organisers expect the event to attract a diverse community of founders, product professionals, innovators, business leaders and other stakeholders for two days of learning, networking, collaboration and practical engagement.

Interswitch’s continued participation further highlights its broader commitment to supporting platforms that promote scalable innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of sustainable solutions tailored to African markets.
