The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has congratulated the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
Governor Soludo, in a goodwill message, described the Bishop as a distinguished servant of God whose decades of priestly dedication have positively impacted the Church and society.
Bishop Ezeokafor was ordained a Catholic priest in 1984 and later served as Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese from 2007 to 2011 before assuming leadership of the Diocese, where he has continued to provide pastoral guidance with wisdom, dedication and distinction.
The Governor commended the Bishop for his commitment to peace, unity and development, describing him as a respected spiritual father and a strong moral voice whose leadership has continued to enrich the Catholic community and the wider society in Anambra State and beyond.
“His Lordship remains a respected spiritual father, a consistent advocate of peace, unity and development, and a steady moral voice whose leadership continues to enrich the faith community and the larger society in Anambra State and beyond,” Governor Soludo said.
Soludo further celebrated Bishop Ezeokafor’s 74 years of life as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and his enduring service to humanity.
He wished the Bishop a joyful birthday celebration and prayed that God would continue to grant him robust health, renewed strength, wisdom and divine grace to serve God and humanity for many more fruitful years.
